Living In The World Or Living In The Kingdom?

When you live in the world, you are subject to the rules of the world. The rules of the world have been set in place by the ruler of this present world.

When you live in the Kingdom of God, you are subject to the principles of the Kingdom that have been set in place before the foundation of the world (not to be confused with the earth).

The rules of the world are no respecter of persons. There are things that happen that benefit one while tearing down another.

That is why I say do not love the world, nor the things in the world—the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. These are not of the Father. While you are in the world, you are not of the world.

You must believe Me when I say that the things of this world are at odds with Me and My Kingdom.

You must learn to live in My Kingdom, according to My principles in order to overcome the world. You must see that no matter what happens to you in the world, you live above it.

You live above the world by always keeping faith in Me, for I alone am your source. I alone am your sufficiency in all things.

Read My Word and believe that what I say about you is the truth. The ruler of this world is a liar and the author of lies. You are constantly faced with a choice: to believe what you believe is the reality of the world, or believe that what I say about Myself and about you is truth.

Settle this issue in your heart and you will know that the “awful” things that seem to be happening to you are not about you at all.

Look beyond your circumstances and, while showing pity and extending mercy upon your perpetrator, keep a “silly” smile on your face. For deep down within you, in your spirit where I abide, where all the riches of My Kingdom are deposited, there still remains that peace that passes all understanding.

Exercise patience and wait to see the salvation of your God.

Do not fear. Do not think for a moment that what the world dumps upon you has taken Me by surprise. For, I am your God. I will cause all things to work together for good to those who love Me and are THE called according to My purposes.

You are Mine and I am yours. And nothing can harm you, or steal from you, or take you from Me.

Settle it in your heart, My precious one. Settle it.
