Sisters

 Peace and joy are sisters,

holding hands while dancing

and skipping

and running gleefully

down the highway of holiness,

celebrating the awakening that

He who is in them is greater

than he who is in the world.

From this knowledge ascends the fragrance of praise

that fills the nostrils of the Almighty.

He smiles and grants slippers,

one made of grace and the other of faith.

They set our feet to dancing

and skipping

and running gleefully

down the highway of holiness.

We were given grace.

Told to believe.

We obeyed

and entered into His promised rest.

Now, we lie down on a bed of Godly love,

and with a sigh say,

“Good night to turmoil without

for we know within

that He who is in us

is greater than he who is in the world.

Good night, my precious ones.

I’ll see you in the morning.
